POTD for June 9th, 2013 - Here's a nice view from the terrace in Oia, on the Greek island of Santorini. Note the cruise ships off in the distance, these are the same ones that can be seen in yesterday's shot from the Santos Winery terrace. The white buildings capping the clifftops at the upper left above the cruise ships are in the town of Thira, the largest town (still pretty small though) on the island.

POTD for June 8th, 2013 - The view from the terrace of the Santos Winery on the Greek island of Santorini. The white mass capping the clifftops in the distance is the town of Oia, one of the most photogenic locations on the planet (shots of which will appear in my dailies over the next few days).

POTD for June 6th, 2013 - A derelict turn-of-the-century barn near Burgoyne Bay, Salt Spring Island B.C.

POTD for June 5th, 2013 - Meet Kona, she's a cross-breed between a Belgian Shepherd and, um... maybe a coyote (just my guess, since she gets regular parcel deliveries from some mysterious company named "ACME").

POTD for June 4th, 2013 - The Bowen Queen ferry waits at the Fulford Harbour dock on Salt Spring Island, B.C.

POTD for June 2nd, 2013 - A brightly-coloured hummingbird rests between drinks on a feeder outside the kitchen window.

POTD for May 16th, 2013 - A random shot from a garden shop the other day... I'm not sure what this is, maybe a Japanese maple?

POTD for May 15, 2013 - I found this rather striking graffiti inside a long-abandoned construction site. I'm often amazed by the skills that some people have using spray cans. I couldn't draw or paint anything like this if my life depended on it.

POTD for May 9th, 2013 - "I wonder where I might find some WiFi around here?" - a shot from Fulford Harbour, Salt Spring Island, B.C. You don't really get a sense of scale from this photo, but the mosaic hand is about 6 feet tall... pretty hard to miss.
